For sale is an exceptional find for any vintage lighting or military collector: an Original Nier-Feuerhand No. 175 "Super Baby" cold-blast storm lantern in a factory-red finish, made in West Germany (circa 1960s-1980s).

This particular unit is highly unique because it is entirely UNFIRED. The factory cotton wick is completely unburned and white, the burner cone is pristine, and the interior chimney has been physically inspected and is 100% free of black carbon soot. The wick-raising mechanism operates smoothly without issue.

Key Identification Details:

- Tank Stamps: Features the Right-Facing Hand/Flame logo sandwiched between "FEUER" and "HAND".

- Fuel Cap: Features the famous "Man in a Hat" profile logo.

- Certification: Side tank is stamped with the German road-safety wave line code "K 1491/1".

- Chimney Cap: Embossed with "ORIGINAL NIER-FEUERHAND-PATENT".

- Production Origin: Stamped "W. Germany" on the base collar.

Cosmetic Condition Report:

- Interior: Completely clean, unburnt, and pristine. No fuel has ever been introduced.

- Glass Globe: Flawless vintage condition—completely chip-free, crack-free, and writing-free.

- Exterior Body: Shows a beautiful, authentic vintage patina. There is typical paint discoloration, minor storage grubbiness, and tiny age spots on the metal finish from decades of storage. No major dents or structural damage.

Please review all macro photos carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition and authentic exterior patina.

The lantern will be packaged with extreme care (the fragile glass globe will be wrapped securely and separately) to ensure safe transit. Fast shipping!
