Stunning Vintage 1940s VOLUPTE "Golden Gesture" Figural Hand Compact featuring rare original branded Puff and Mirror!Add a highly sought after masterpiece to your vintage vanity collection. This iconic 1940s Volupte "Golden Gesture" compact is beautifully designed in the shape of a lady's hand complete with rhinestone engagement ring and dazzling rhinestone cuff at the wrist.
This particular piece is a true collector's find because it retains its incredibly rare original VOLUPTE-branded powder puff a component that is almost always missing or heavily damaged.
The exterior shows a beautifully aged brass/gold-tone exterior with age appropriate scuffs and wear. The rhinestones on the ring and cuff are complete, in tact, and provide elegant sparkle.
The interior mirror is intact, clear, and highly reflective. There is some light age-related silvering/spotting around the outer rim. The powder puff is in excellent condition! The puff is stamped "VOLUPTE" and shows only minor edge fraying and is exceptionally clean. Even more, you will find face powder still in the receptacle under the powder puff!
