This rare 1910s "Horse-Shoe Solace" litho cut plug tobacco tin, measuring 4 1/8" x 6 1/8" x 2 3/8", is in good condition with a couple of very small creases, some superficial rust along the bottom interior edge and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working order. This very attractive red tin, made by the Thos. Davidson Company, Montreal, Canada, features gold and black lettering advertising the "Horse-Shoe Solace" brand of cut plug tobacco. The tobacco was manufactured by B.
