### ABOUT THIS EDITION

This short, 39-page historical overview was beautifully produced as a fine-press limited printing by the renowned San Francisco typographic designers Lawton and Alfred Kennedy.

As stated on the copyright page, this special edition was prepared exclusively for presentation to members of the Bohemian Club at their 1973 Summer Encampment in Monte Rio, California. Because it was privately distributed and never intended for commercial retail sale, copies are exceptionally difficult to find today.

### HISTORICAL CONTENT

The book beautifully details the historical transport of members to their secluded redwood retreat via the Tiburon Ferry and the narrow-gauge North Pacific Coast Railroad. The front and rear endpapers feature a detailed reproduction of a historic 1897 map from Reynolds & Proctor's Illustrated Atlas of Sonoma County.

- **Interior:** Pages are bright, clean, and entirely free of underlining, highlighting, or stray ink marks.

- **Binding:** The binding is solid, square, and tight.
