Pair of Antique Bohemian Turquoise/Aqua Luminous Opaline Glass Vases featuring a Hand Painted Enameled Botanical/Floral Motif that add depth and texture, they are 10.25 inches tall.These vases feature an elegant baluster/urn-shaped body with rounded shoulders, a slender neck, a pedestal foot and a flared rim dating to the late 19th century, circa 1875-1895.
Individually applied white enameled dots/jeweling encircle the pedestal base..
The combination of:Turquoise opaline glass
Baluster body and flared trumpet-form mouth
Pedestal foot
Naturalistic hand-enamelled botanical decoration
Translucent and opaque enamel techniques
Raised white enamel jeweling
Approximately 10¼-inch sizehas parallels among glass attributed to the Harrach/Neuwelt (Novy Svet) glassworks.
The bottom of the vases show small dark painted enamel marks that I could not identify..
Vase are in excellent condition..there is a very tiny flake on the rim of one of the vases which I have highlighted in my photos..
These vases are not being represented as definitively manufactured by Harrach/Neuwelt “Possibly/attributed to Harrach/Neuwelt” refers to stylistic and technical similarities with documented late-19th-century Bohemian examples.
