We were extremely fortunate to come upon a significant lot of this otherwise very hard to find, very beloved, and very discontinued fragrance.

These bottles come from the estate of a gentleman for whom PPH was his favorite daily scent. When he learned that it was being discontinued, he purchased whatever remaining stock he could find to make sure he would have it for years to come.Based on that, and that the bottle caps feature the newer design, we believe this stock was purchased in the 1990s at the later end of production. The bottles had been stored away in their home in a reasonably temperature controlled environment.

This particular PPH in the After Shave format is still quite potent when compared to the EDT. We've been in touch with many scent enthusiasts who are more knowledgable than us -- one of whom described it as, "just a bit softer and not as sharp of an opening" compared to the EDT (which we had, but is now sold out).

This highly coveted original Jean Kerléo formulation of Patou Pour Homme was launched in the 1980s and later discontinued in the 1990s.In 2013, Patou revived the 'Pour Homme' line but with a completely new formulation, due partially to new restrictions on the original, rare ingredients. Sharp-eyed fans of Miami Vice will recognize a bottle of PPH on the dresser top of Sonny Crockett, along with a wad of $100's, his Amex Platinum card, a soft pack of Lucky Strikes and the key to his Ferrari.

We removed it from its box only to photograph it and verify authenticity; the bottle itself remains full and unused with no signs of evaporation or clouding. You can catch the distinctive, wonderful scent even with the cap on.
