Offered is an original WWI-era U.S. Marine Corps Eagle, Globe & Anchor (EGA) insignia, measuring approximately 1⅝ inches wingtip to wingtip.This is a substantial early Marine Corps insignia featuring the crested eagle, detailed globe with latitude/longitude lines, and fouled anchor. The reverse retains its original threaded screw post, locating pin, and large knurled retaining nut.The piece displays a genuine aged brass/bronze patina, with areas of darker oxidation and surface wear consistent with age and use. The finish has not been polished or artificially brightened.Details:* U.S. Marine Corps EGA
