Nikko Nikon 6x24 WW2 Kanji Binoculars, Orion 1943, Usable 9.3 Deg.:
$300.00

Their are two versions of the WW2, Nikko- Orion 6x24 binoculars. The first issue in 1940 had the City Tokyo on the left eyepiece cover, ( photo 2). The later war issue1943 has Tokyo removed, you know why, photo 1. Both are written in Kanji script. Seems to me the paint black enamel was better in the earlier one, i guess supplies were running short.

This model focuses smoothly, and is in collimation. Yes, there is some haze and dirt, but the image is still good and impressive for 82 years old!
