Wonderful Collins and Company, Legitimus model 206. Curved blade machete from 1925 production run.This was a Connecticut company founded in 1826. This line of high grade axes & machetes and hatchets were marketed to farmers, loggers, & tradesmen. They were also made in Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala, however the tools made there were not as sought after as the U.S. made ones, this example was made in the USA, please see the stamped markings. It has original patina, and appears to have had little use, the wood handle is also in nice shape. The blade of course can be polished and made to look like new, if that look is desired.

The blade measures 17 1/2”
