Walt Disney / USPS Art of Disney First Day of Issue Collection – Lot of 7 – 3 Sealed

Offered together is a wonderful collection of 7 Disney matted art and postage stamp presentations, featuring some of Walt Disney’s most recognizable animated films and characters.

Each presentation combines a large Disney character scene with an actual USA Disney postage stamp incorporated into the lower commemorative panel and cancelled with an official FIRST DAY OF ISSUE postmark.

The collection predominantly comes from the 2005 USPS “The Art of Disney: Celebration” series, issued during Disneyland’s 50th-anniversary year.

The 2005 examples feature 37¢ USA Disney stamps and the special:

ANAHEIM, CA – JUNE 30, 2005 – THE ART OF DISNEY CELEBRATION – FIRST DAY OF ISSUE

cancellation.

Also included is a Beauty and the Beast “The Art of Disney: Romance” presentation from 2006, featuring the 39¢ USA Beauty and the Beast stamp with Orlando, Florida – April 21, 2006 First Day of Issue cancellation.

Characters represented throughout the collection include Snow White, Dopey, Alice, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Belle and the Beast, together with additional classic Disney imagery.

7 presentations total.

3 of the 7 remain sealed in their protective wrapping.

The remaining pieces are unsealed and show varying signs of storage/age. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition of the artwork, mats, protective coverings and edges.
