This Legends bronze sculpture was manufactured in1995. It is rarely seen on . It is part of a collection by renowned Western artist Willy Whitten, dated 1995. This beautiful tee-pee-like bronze tripod holds a round, detailed Native American dream catcher which symbolizes protection, spirituality and tradition. Willy Whitten's work is known for its expressive faces, flowing movement and deep cultural themes.This is a very heavy set as it is crafted in solid bronze and mixed media. It has wonderful detail (see upclose photos). Even the rear side of the tripod-like holder has a cluster of feathers and other detail on one of the rear legs (see photos). The rear side of the circular dream catcher has in the bronze: Legends, 1995 and the Whitten signature (see photos). It also has the original Legends tag attached to the stand.
My brother recently passed and he owned this sculpture from new. It is in like-new condition with no damage. Please review all of the photos carefully so you can see all of the detail and the condition for yourself. This is an awkward bronze to ship as the Tripod holder does not collapse.
