This is a Genuine OEM Singer all‑metal, all‑chrome sewing machine light, fully serviced and ready for installation. The chrome housing has been cleaned and polished, and the light has been rewired with new copper wire for safe, reliable operation.
Wire ends are properly made up with soldered eyelets for use on a Singer 3‑pin terminal block.A vintage wall plug is included if you prefer to convert the light for your setup.
The switch has been tested and provides a positive on/off click.This unit includes a new incandescent bulb for a warm, classic glow.
Special Mounting for Singer Model 128This light has the correct mounting plate for the Singer Model 128 with the pear‑shaped rear cover. It includes the original Singer screw that secures the plate to the machine in place of the cover.
This mounting plate is designed for older Model 128 machines that did not have a built‑in light notch.
Installation method:
Remove your existing pear‑shaped rear cover.
Place the light’s mounting plate onto the machine.
Put your pear‑shaped cover back on over the black plate.
Install the screw through both plates and tighten.
This allows the light to mount securely on machines that originally had no light bracket notch.
Light works great, looks great, and is ready for your Model 128.
