French Devotional Antique Religious Chalkware Statues Collection of 5A collection of five, antique, Catholic religious statues made of solid chalkware. They are showing wear that isenhancing their historic authenticity rather than diminishing it. The statues depict Saint Teresa, The Blessed Mother, Our Lady Of Fatima, and Saint Anne (mother of Mary). The tallest of the five is 12" and the smallest is 8". One statue is marked "Made in Italy" on the base. These statues carry the quiet authority of devotional art once created for churches and shrines. They are more than decorative — they are architectural in presence.
There is agewear, with chips to the painted finish as shown.One repair was made to the neck as highlighted in the last photo. It's an old repair where the head was glued at the neck.
