1/6th plate early daguerreotype of 2 young girls. There are vertical hairline marks throughout the daguerreotype plate that cannot be seen in my photos. Comes in a early, full lyre case. Has a strong spine and latches and closes wonderfully. I would definitely put this daguerreotype as being made in the early 1840's. Has a square thin brass mat and a silk pad. Back of case is blank. Displays wonderfully. Any questions, please ask. Offers accepted.
