COLORADO MIDLAND TALL GLOBE RAILROAD LANTERN RED UNMARKED GLOBE.Tall globe railroad lantern manufactured by Handlan embossed on the lid shoulder very nicely, "COLO MID RR" for the Colorado Midland Railroad. Very nice tin and metal throughout with the bail stiffener, original lid latch, Handlan globe retainer assembly, and the correct twist off font with the Handlan font, brass burner marked on the end for maker. The twist off doesn't completely lock onto the cage but will stay on for display on the shelf. Burner stem is a little bent and too tight on the frame to currently come off. The twist off and font are both the correct version. Comes with a red unmarked tall globe, free of any maker's marks or road name. One, sliver chip along the top but there are no cracks. A very nice set ready to enjoy for the Colorado lantern collector.
