Neat Lithograph Reproduction Print of a Classic "C. L. Centlivre Brewing Factory" Fort Wayne Indiana. Antique Wavy Glass & Layered Wood & Dark Gold Gesso Frame with Amazing Display Pop!Original Print was from 1885 and is popular with Breweriana collectors, often selling well above $1500. This reproduction was done with extreme precision and qualityin the 1980's by Lincoln Lithographic Service, our copy was slightly cut down to fit frame.Approx: 27.75" W x 23.75 H (framed), 19.5" W x 15.5" H (visible), 9 lbsWe are selling this for its terrific feel & value of frame as well. The lithograph is in great shape despite being cut down to fit frame. It was done in fine detail on heavy linen type paper (see pictures). The original print & this reproduction truly are one of the neatest depictions of an American brewery of the late 1800's. Rich in color in content, it would look great in any room, bar or den. The Centlivre company was founded in 1862 by a French immigrant Charles Louis Centlivre & the print features a birds eye view of the brew house, office, store room, bottling works, cold storage, wagon shed,stables & the residence of the Centlivre family. Along the streets, clogged with beer wagons, are two C. L. Centlivre electric street cars. Atop the Mansard-roofed brew house is a gilt metal sculpture of Charles Centlivre, a bowler held in his left hand and his right foot resting on a beer keg. The river boat & canal are neat as well, it must have been quite an operation. Picture three in gallery shows print out of the frame & you can see it is in great shape other than trimming. There is some light staining on the glass you will see in edges of picture frame but they are not on print.
The antique Gesso & layered wood frame is likely from 1850-1890 or so and has old wavy glass & raised leaf relief drape ribbon, vine & floral accents & dark gold tone paint. The frame backing as shown in pictures is just old wood flat panel that was used pre 1890's & it is splitting & taped together, but does its job (plus kind of looks cool). The frame along is well worth the price & we will not sell separately (we have been asked before on other listings). We have seen the reproduction prints sell for around $200 unframed, they are that nice. We have also seen inferior frames sell from $200-$250+ as well, so this is really a good buy in more ways than one.Please Note: We photograph & video artwork in different light settings to try and capture a painting, sculpture or other artwork's look in different settings. Therefore there may be some variations in color from one picture to another. The photos are not altered, but may have been photographed in a brighter room, with natural light, a flash feature or other. Videos tend to shoot a little darker than actual appearance. Also, we try to note any visible defects we can see but there may be wear or imperfections we miss. Please view all pictures taken for your consideration and use zoom feature if needed. Likewise, you can always notify us with questions.

The process is not difficult, but the timing of such does not allow adequate time for the item to be returned to us and then for us to proceed with a claim (chain of custody questions can arise as well on returned items due to double shipping and handling so it is just easier for Buyers). So again, as noted in listing, we do not offer returns. Sales tax is charged according to your state or country's regulations. Of course, there is free local pick up and we can meet to assist if you are near Indianapolis or driving through. We do this often.
All items above $100 will require signature upon delivery unless you request otherwise, so please plan accordingly. We do not charge extra for it. If you do not want signature at delivery, we can make an exception, but be aware if an item's tracking number shows items is delivered but it is stolen or goes missing from your location (porch, lobby or other) FedEx & Others will not insure package and you will be responsible for loss. Some services are beginning to require signature on items above $500-$700 as well. Also, we have discounts with FedEx & on shipping which do not always show up in estimates on shipping.
