This edition includes Chadwick's work on the Borzoi along with a translation of “The Perchino Hunt” by His Excellency Dmitri Walzoff, providing an interesting historical account of the famous Russian Perchino hunting estate and its Borzois.
The book contains numerous photographs and illustrations relating to the breed, including the well-known photograph of “Boran – The Best Dog in Russia,” photographed by Alan Shayle.

Vintage condition with noticeable exterior wear. Red cloth covers show rubbing, scuffing, discoloration and general handling wear. Corners and spine ends have wear/fraying, including some minor loss at the corners. There is a noticeable rubbed area on the front cover. Page edges are age-toned. Interior pages appear clean and intact, and the binding remains solid.
