Fantastic Large French Vase from 1870-1890Made by Vion & Baury of France or similar.Marked on the base with a mark attributed to Vion & Baury by an sale house.
Amazing colors !A pink ruffled top spills over down the sides.The front panel shows a charming girl in French period dress with a profusion of applied leaves & roses.The back panel portrays a young boy dressed in period style. 9" tall by 6" wide and 5" deepJust Stunning!Condition: Remember it is 120+ years old ...4 leaves have a chip on the end- the branch near the top appears to have been broken off. There is a small 1" crack in the ruffled top made in the manufacturing- it does not go through.The roses appear to be intact
