Bring home a genuine piece of American heating history with this antique Griswold cast iron flue damper, a classic accessory used to regulate airflow in wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. Proudly bearing the GRISWOLD name cast into the iron, this heavy-duty damper showcases the exceptional craftsmanship that made Griswold one of America’s most respected foundries.

Measuring approximately 9.5 inches in diameter, this substantial flue damper features its original rotating center shaft and coiled spring handle, allowing safe adjustment of the stove or chimney draft while in use. The decorative cast pattern and raised lettering make it equally appealing as a collectible, restoration piece, or rustic farmhouse display.

Whether you’re restoring a period wood stove, decorating a cabin, or adding to a Griswold collection, this authentic flue damper is a scarce and desirable piece of early American cast iron.
