Up for sale/sale is a magnificent, highly collectible 3-piece antique porcelain trio set from the renowned Stevenson & Hancock (King Street, Derby) factory. This rare octagonal/faceted set dates between 1861 and 1935 and features an exquisite hand-painted pattern of vibrant pink roses set against an intricate, raised gold gilt lattice/trellis border. This specific trio was retailed through the legendary luxury purveyor Thomas Goode & Co. of Mayfair, London. The underside of the cup features the iconic orange/puce S&H Crown and Crossed Swords factory mark alongside the hand-painted "T. GOODE & CO. LONDON" retailer signature. The matching octagonal saucer and base side-plate bear the matching factory backstamps. Includes:-(1) Octagonal Teacup / Demitasse Cup (Stamping: S&H + T. Goode & Co. London)-(1) Matching Octagonal Saucer (Stamping: S&H)-(1) Matching Octagonal Side Plate (Stamping: S&H) Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or hairline fractures.
