A beautiful small Limoges pitcher, hand painted with lush red roses,white blossoms and green leaves on a glowing amber-to-gold background.The branch-style handle is painted to match, and the entire interioris lined in gold.Signed by the artist "Hannaford" near the handle. The porcelain blankbears the green "ELITE L FRANCE" mark of the Elite Works factory inLimoges, France, used in the early 1900s. Pieces like this werehand decorated by talented china painters of the era.
