Antique Family Portrait RPPC c1915 Ethnic Interest Real Photo Postcard Children:
$7.95
Description:Original antique Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) dating to approximately 1915–1920, featuring a formal family portrait of seven family members posed before a painted studio backdrop. The group includes two women, two young women, and three boys dressed in period Edwardian-era clothing.
One family member appears to have features that may reflect Native American, Hispanic, or other non-European ancestry, though the family's ethnicity is unknown and cannot be confirmed from the photograph alone. This makes the postcard of potential ethnic interest while preserving an accurate description of the image.
The postcard retains its original AZO postcard back with stamp box, identifying it as an authentic early 20th-century real photo postcard. An excellent example of American vernacular photography with strong appeal for collectors of RPPCs, genealogy, family history, ethnic interest photography, Edwardian fashion, studio portraits, and social history.
Condition is vintage pre-owned with expected age-related wear, including light corner wear, scattered surface marks, minor staining, and handling wear consistent with age. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.
