Antique Chilean Model 1892 Cavalry Sword made by Chatellerault and stamped on the top of blade spine. 39" OAL, 33" fullered blade and also fullered/groove on the top point area of the blade. Blade shows some scattered pitting, and some tiny scattered nicks/dings on the blade edge. The blade is slightly bent to the left on the front of the blade area. Ricasso shows the Chilean Crest stamped on it, with the top of the blade spine marked with Chatellerault with initals stamping of JH. The black composite grip shows a "C" shaped crack under the grip by the guard. The Handle Basket is stamped with Military markings on the top and also in the back area.
