Antique Brown-Westhead Moore Tile Blue Transfer Sportsmen Dogs Shooting Hunting:
$64.99

A Victorian transfer-printed tile by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co.

The reverse has the clear moulded maker's mark "BROWN-WESTHEAD MOORE & CO. CAULDON PLACE STOKE ON TRENT," visible through the open back of the frame. The tile is held in an old wooden frame with a hanging ring, and an old pencilled number is on the frame edge.

Condition: There are some small specks and marks in the finish and there is a layer of dirt overall which I am loathe to clean as I know precisely nothing about tiles and transfers and I would be afraid of rubbing it off (if that's even possible!) I will leave that up to you.. The image is strong and well printed. The gilt frame has losses to the finish, notably along the left side and the lower edge.

Size: frame approx. 6.75 x 6.75 in; visible tile approx. 6 x 6 in.

I am an expert packer and will make sure this is safe and secure before shipping to you.

If you have any questions, please ask - and please be sure to study all the photos before buying as they actually illustrate the title better than I can describe it. Also please be aware that the colour of the tile can vary somewhat in the photos due to screen settings, etc.

Thank You.

I have a few other tiles here, I will list 6 today and if there is interest I will list more so please keep checking back.
