Salvatore “Totò” Amorelli has been producing handmade pipes since 1979 in Caltanissetta and Lubinski has been distributing them in Europe since 1984.
He has been referred to by fans as one of the three most historically creative Italian artisans.
He has indeed devised new shapes and particular variants of the barrel and mouthpiece in his Busbee, Fishtail, Frac, Lyra and Nail crafts. Also recently, using laser technology, he has made the “Penna San Michele” and various textured finishes.
He works exclusively with Sicilian root which he personally oversees the extraction at the Fiumedinisi site, boiling and maturing. At the end of all machining, evaluate the final result and rank it by punching it from one to five stars." His signature is a gold bar, placed between barrel and mouthpiece, which further embellishes each specimen."
