Original 1977 railway modelling pull-out supplement featuring a detailed scale drawing of the then-new rolling stock designed for the modernization of the Glasgow Underground.
Published as a Narrow Gauge Times Modellers Scale Drawing, Ref. “C,” the sheet depicts the 4 ft gauge Glasgow Underground cars numbered 101–133, built by Metro-Cammell Ltd. beginning in 1977.
The technical drawing was prepared by noted railway modeller and author Roy C. Link in 1977, with the original drawing courtesy of Metro-Cammell Ltd.
Scale: 2 cm = 1 m.
The reverse includes contemporary material relating to Glasgow’s new Underground rolling stock, including views of Car 101, passenger accommodation and the driver’s control area, with photographs credited to the Greater Glasgow Passenger Transport Executive.
