Original 1960 Richard Nixon Presidential Campaign Letter – Nixon vs. Kennedy Election
Original period campaign letter issued on official Office of the Vice President, Washington letterhead during Richard Nixon’s 1960 campaign for President against John F. Kennedy.
Addressed “Dear Fellow Campaigner,” the letter was sent to Nixon campaign supporters during the final stretch of the extraordinarily close 1960 presidential election. Nixon thanks campaign workers for their support and urges them to “redouble” their efforts, contact voters and bring them to the polls on Election Day.
The letter includes a “Dick Nixon” signature. I am offering the signature as an autopen/facsimile campaign signature and not as an authenticated hand-signed autograph.
An interesting piece of original American political and presidential campaign memorabilia connected directly to the historic 1960 Kennedy-Nixon election.
The letter remains in its vintage wood frame as pictured. The paper shows age-related toning, fold/crease lines, handling wear and areas of discoloration/adhesive residue consistent with age and storage. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
Sold exactly as pictured.
A great display piece for a collector of Richard Nixon, John F. Kennedy, presidential elections, political memorabilia or 20th-century American history.
