1935 Case Tested XX Interchangeable Steel Hatchet/Knife with Stag Handle and Leather Sheath- Please examine photos closely, these items reflect wear and tear for it's 91+ years as one might expect it would
- Interchangeable stag grip, 4 3/4" knife blade, hatchet measures 2 3/8" at blade x 4 1/8" deep x 7 3/4" to hilt.
- Both blades have a fairly sharp edge
- Note that in some photos of hatchet, the reflection of surroundings picked up by hatchet surface gives a bubbled pitted look. It is actually a smooth surface, it is difficult to capture it's smooth shiny surface without reflections being displayed as well
- This is a vintage collectible
- The handle is made ofstag/antler material
- The leather sheath shows wear. All snaps snap. The stitching around sheath is intact and solid. The upper right edge where the knife slides in/out is split approx 1". There is a puncture hole at thebottom of sheath from the knife. All sheath photos should show these conditions
Note to buyers: I am liquidating a portion of my husband's extensive gun parts, knives, books and his various eclectic shop collections; and am describing this item from the meticulous notations made on the envelope/box/shelf in which it has been stored.
