RARE 1933 Sunset Chapel Mausoleum Minneapolis MN Limited Ed Prospectus BookAn extraordinary, museum-grade survival piece of Depression-era architectural and cemetery ephemera.
Up for sale is an incredibly scarce, deluxe promotional presentation prospectus for the Sunset Chapel Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Published by the Memorial Park Association, Inc. in 1933, this large-format book was produced as a highly restricted promotional tool to document the construction of a major Midwestern landmark using premium regional materials like Minnesota pearl pink granite, Italian marble, and bronze.
This specific copy is a registered limited edition featuring remarkable provenance. The title page bears a formal, hand-inked presentation to Mr. G.A. Geiger of Denver, Colorado, signed directly by the Association's President on February 26, 1933. Additionally, the flyleaf carries an early pencil signature from Jay Tompkins.
Market Availability Note: Ultra-Rare
At the time of this listing, there are no other copies of this deluxe 1933 architectural prospectus available for sale anywhere on the secondary market. This is a true "one-of-a-kind" opportunity for institutional archives, cemetery historians, or elite collectors of original Art Deco and architectural ephemera to secure a foundational piece of history that may never surface again.
