Original antique postcard featuring the New Union Depot in Chicago, Illinois, now known as Chicago Union Station.

This postcard was mailed from Chicago and is clearly postmarked April 14, 1921. It retains its original 1-cent George Washington U.S. postage stamp, cancellation marks, handwritten message and address.

The reverse includes an early printed description of the new Union Station project, including its location between Jackson Boulevard, Adams Street, Canal Street and Clinton Street and information about the railroad companies the terminal would serve.

Condition is consistent with a genuine 100+ year old mailed postcard. Shows age toning, staining/soiling, creases, corner and edge wear, and areas of paper loss/chipping along the edges. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition.

A great piece of early Chicago railroad, transportation and Union Station history with original 1921 postal history.
