Everything You Need To Know About Scott Storch
Scott Storch is known for style both artistically and aesthetically. He is a hip-hop record producer who has worked with some of the industry’s leading musicians. Unfortunately, some of his personal troubles have taken him out of the record-producing game in recent years, but Scott continues to persevere for his passions.
Scott spent much of his childhood in southern Florida. His parents were divorced by the time he moved to the Sunshine State. During high school, he moved up to Pennsylvania to live with his father, but he ended up dropping out of school altogether. After dropping out, his future remained uncertain until he started polishing his outstanding musical talents. His first big gig came in 1991when he was offered the role as keyboard player for The Roots.
Since breaking into the industry, Scott has had his share of ups and downs. In his mid-20s, he collaborated with Dr. Dre and would go on to work with other hit artists, such as Fat Joe, Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, 50 Cent and Beyoncé. Scott formed his own record label, Storch Music Company. In recent years, the record producer has battled cocaine addiction.
