Frankie Muniz watched his very own Volkswagen Jetta that was featured in the Fast & Furious movie go up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson auction this past weekend. He took to Instagram to share a selfie of him in the drivers seat one last time, also noting how it was the first car he ever bought! We aren’t sure why he decided to auction the car, but after all was said and done, the car sold for $46,200.

Frankie Muniz Back In His Fast & Furious Jetta! (For The Last Time!)
Mike Wolfe’s VW Panel Van In The Snow
While the eastern side of the United States was getting rocked with snow, dealing with 20+ car pile ups, 17 hour traffic jams, and thousands of cars were being abandoned, Mike Wolfe from the hit TV show “American Pickers” decided to use the opportunity to put his 1962 Volkswagen Panel Van to work (and also get some awesome shots of it covered with snow)! Who knew a rusty old van could look so cool!

Clarkson Shows Off His VW Golf GTI
Despite the enormous pressure VW are under at the moment due to their diesel engine emissions software scandal, the most outspoken and influential car guy on the planet has purchased a Golf GTI.
Jeremy Clarkson has also taken time out from the production of his new Amazon Prime format to defend the German company. In true Jezza style, the ex Top Gear presenter used phrases like, “eco mentalists” and “soft-in-the-head governments”, perhaps making a more important statement relating to the damaging aftermath: “The fallout would be immense because [it] owns Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat and Skoda as well. So they’d also go to the wall.”
Clarkson also took to twitter and released photos of his new VW Golf GTI, his comments: “I’m happy with my new car”, and “This is why I bought it. Couldn’t give a stuff about how much nitrogen it’s producing”.
Although nitrogen is a speciality of the diesel engine and Jezza’s turbo-charged 2.0-L petrol GTI produces more CO2 than nitrogen, we know what he is getting at – despite VW breaking all the rules, manufactures are producing cars with powerful yet impressively economical engines, and ultimately VW’s deception isn’t enough to drive customers into buying Japanese or Korean vehicles over German.

Chris Pratt’s Self-Built Custom Volkswagen Beetle
When we think of Chris Pratt, we can’t help but think of Andy Dwyer on NBC’s Parks and Recreation. We’re big fans of Pratt’s work and now that we know what he drives, we’re even bigger fans. Jalopnik shared an article recently with photos they found of Pratt’s self built, fully customized hot-rod Volkswagen Beetle.
We always enjoy hearing about celebrities that drive something other than the Audi that Audi gave them.

Tanner Foust’s New Daily Driver
Tanner Foust shared a photo of his new daily driver recently, a 2014 Volkswagen Touareg TDI R Line. While the Touareg may seem like just another SUV to some, it sounds like Foust has some serious plans for the car because his caption on the photo indicates, “this is the last time you’ll see this thing stock”. We’d expect nothing less from a professional racing and stunt driver and we’ve got a feeling this thing will be pretty mean when it’s done.
