Okay, so it’s not exactly your standard Maybach but it looks like Ryan Seacrest had a little fun with Simon Cowell during his 56th birthday celebration this past weekend. Seacrest shared this photo of Simon riding around in the toy-sized Maybach with Seacrest at the controls. His caption read, “Found simon a Maybach in his size. Happy 56th.”

Simon Cowell has proven to the world that despite possessing an endless pit of cash and owning some of the planet’s most exotic cars, he also has some taste. Don’t get me wrong, his Rolls Royce Phantom and Bugatti Veyron (now sold) are classy cars, but anyone with a lot of cash can simply order one.
Although not exactly cheap, the flat-headed music mogal shelled out $650,000 on a very rare Jaguar Eagle Speedster after he saw Jeremy Clarkson driving one on Top Gear.
Cowell may have constantly mocked Clarkson for his looks and fashion sense when he appeared on the show, but it seems when it comes to cars, Clarkson is actually an inspiration.
Simon Cowell’s Bugatti Veyron went across the auction block last night at Barrett-Jackson fetching a $1.25 million not including the buyers fee which rounded the price up to $1.375 million. No word as to who the buyer is.

Barrett-Jackson will be kicking off it’s 2014 event starting today in Scottsdale Arizona. While we can expect the normal line-up of original high-dollar Mopars and muscle cars, Craig Jackson and the team at Barrett-Jackson have lined up quite the celebrity set of vehicles.
Lets start with Simon Cowell’s Bugatti Veyron. We’ve seen him a number of times in this vehicle and frankly speaking, I think he should be keeping this one. Unless he has a special variation Veyron on the way, I would hold on to this one. Perhaps we’ll see him bidding on his own car.
In keeping up with the all black motif, I’m very excited to see the Gas Monkey Ferrari F40 go across the block. Dennis Collins is no stranger to putting cars up for auction but based on the TV publicity from the TV show Fast N Loud, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this thing take off!
