Stephen Curry has made a name for himself since his draft into the Golden State Warriors basketball team. He has played as a guard for the Oakland, California team since 2009. He was also named as an NBA All-Rookie in 2010, due to his outstanding skills within the first season.
Since his childhood, Stephen always had an interest and natural talent for basketball. After making it big on the court in high school in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, the young basketball start chose to attend Davidson College in the same state. After helping his school win its first NCAA basketball tournament in over 30 years, Stephen decided to go for the NBA. He finished his senior year online so he could still earn his degree while playing professional basketball.
When Stephen isn’t out breaking records on the basketball court, he is busy with his new family in Oakland, California. He married his sweetheart from youth group, Ayesha, in 2011. The couple had a daughter in July 2012. While many celebs fall from the pressures of media attention, Stephen has stayed true to his roots.
