Now this a lovely Santos of Our lady. 18yh-19th century I baught it in an antique shop many years ago in Quito Ecuador! She is 7" tall and 3 and 1/2 inches wide. The lovely faced Madonna holds her baby Jesus swaddled just as they do in Ecuador. It is made of very light wood and gessoed fabric. the base (added later) has degraded a bit but overall the saints is lovely and very spiritual. And the swaddled baby is just precious. A rare find!
