    Showcase Presents Phantom Stranger

    This is another great example of DC's Showcase Presents series of trade paper back. I like DCs Showcase Presents series of paper backs because they give you an entire storyline for a relatively cheap price. Phantom Stranger stories were well written and presented. They are spooky, fun to read, and very easy to follow. You get a total of 544 pages and all of the first 21 stories of the Phantom Stranger and the DR. 12 back up stories. As a bonus you also get Showcase #80, which debuted the Phantom stranger in his first Silver Age story, "Men Call Me the Phantom Stranger." Also included is the first Dr. 13 back up story "The Ghost-Breaker." Buying each individual comic could easily put one back a couple hundred dollars. The only complaint is that it is done in ...
