Antique hand-carved and polychrome painted wooden San Vicente Ferrer (Saint Vincent Ferrer) santos figure, likely Philippine in origin.The figure depicts the Dominican saint standing atop a carved globe and pedestal base. It retains remnants of its old painted surface and measures approximately 13” tall.The reverse retains an old National Museum of the Philippines “RP” numbered label, RP 0005099, along with a separate numbered label 10480.An additional old label on the underside identifies the figure as “SAN VICENTE FERRER.”Condition: Heavily age-worn with extensive loss to the painted/gesso surface, cracks, chips and other losses. Both hands and their original attributes are missing. Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
