The time has come for me to start to downsize some of my collection, and I am spitballing the idea of getting rid of one of my grails. This is an authentic World of Nintendo display case. Item/display # M18 GC. This case is 60" wide, 45" tall, and 17" deep. It weighs quite a bit, especially with the glass and whatnot. I got this around 7-8 years ago from a local friend, had to transport it 1 hr to my house and got it there in one piece. I'm not sure which store this case was in originally. This is a real, authentic WoN case. There are price stickers from the Game Boy era. I have kept everything that was on this case when I got it attached... I have removed nothing. The glass has a lock on it, yet I do not have the key.I have stored a lot of my DBZ collection inside of this, so of course nothing of that and nothing on top of the case is going to be sold with it... just the unit itself. I did not remove anything, clean spiderwebs, etc. just because I only had a few minutes to take photos and whatnot. I bought a light for the case around the time I purchased it from my friend, and the light still works great.
The case DOES NOT have a back on it, I'm guessing when these were in stores, the store would just attach pegboard or something similar to the back so they could hang product, etc. I don't think this model ever came with an original back, but if it did, it is NOT here. I have attached a video of the case swaying from side-to-side... when I give it a little shake with my hand, it moves back and forth... I'm sure this is because it does not have a back on it, and the front is just the 2 big pieces of display glass. It still transports in one piece, etc. I planned on putting board for a backing to hang up the DBZ figures, but that never happened.This case is LOCAL PICKUP IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN ONLY... I WILL NOT TRANSPORT/SHIP/ANYTHING ELSE.
