Date: December 5, 1954

Description: Presenting the first appearance of actor Fess Parker in the role that would rocket him to meteoric stardom as Walt Disney's "Davy Crockett."

"Davy Crockett Lives Again" is the title of the ensuing article...

Also features the Dionne Quintettes and their family.

Tracks the newly found fame that awaited Fess Parker... then under personal contract to Walt Disney... prior to Parker's shift to his own contact representation led by agent Ray Stark. While this certainly incensed Walt Disney... the two men eventually buried the hatchet prior to Parker's later contract with NBC Television to star in the "Daniel Boone" television series (in Living Color).
