This fascinating and hilarious booklet of cartoons is called Two Types by JON.  It was published by  The British Army Newspaper Unit , C.F.M. "for fighting men in all ranks and Services in this theater".  It "Being the saga of the two jaunty heroes who have given us the best laugh since the campaign began".  It has a forward by Cyril James that details the this booklets topic of the campaign in North Africa followed by the invasion of Italy in 1943.  The "two types" in question are two eccentrically dressed (and acting) British officers from the upper classes of British society with the Fair Type with his battered beret and the Dark Type with his felt hat bought in the Burlington Arcade.  Both show astonishing funny observations about army life around them and always true to the quirky attire inspired by Field Marshal Montgomery including, "suede boots, silk scarfs. corduroy trousers, sheepskin coats and shaggy pullovers".

 This little booklet (6.25" x 9.5") is 50 pages long .Its original price was 20 Lire (Italian or North African). It looks to have been issued in 1944.
