WWI Imperial German Trench Art Matchbox Holder + Vintage Three Torches Matches:
$79.95

Authentic WWI Imperial German trench art matchbox holder inscribed with "Gott Mit Uns" (God With Us), handmade by a German soldier during the 1914–1918 period. Crafted from repurposed wartime material, this piece shows the improvisational workmanship typical of trench art — with original patina, oxidation, and honest field wear that confirm its age and authenticity.

Included is a vintage “Three Torches” Safety Matches box made in the USA. The graphics remain bold, the box fits the holder well, and the matches inside are unused, making this a complete and visually striking display set.

Features

• Original WWI German trench art

• Hand‑crafted matchbox holder designed to hold and protect small matchboxes carried by soldiers in the field

• Made of solid brass with age‑correct patina and surface wear

• Vintage USA-made matchbox included

• Matches unused

• Excellent display piece for militaria collectors

Condition Notes Holder shows age-consistent wear and oxidation. No cracks or breaks. Matchbox graphics remain clear. Matches intact.
