Vintage Victorinox GAK-1, 108mm German Army Knife Bundeswehr Saw Guard 1976-85:
$105.00

This is an originalVictorinox 108mm German Army Knife, manufactured in Switzerland for the West German Bundeswehr.

The textured olive green nylon scales feature the moldedGerman Federal Eagle (Bundesadler), distinguishing the military-issued GAK from the similar civilian Victorinox 108mm models.

The knife features the classic GAK tool configuration, including the large blade, combination wood saw tool, corkscrew, reamer/awl, and lanyard attachment.

This is an especially clean example for its age. The combination of theearly GAK-1 configuration, excellent overall condition, very lightly used blade, tools and blade are tight, and original saw guardmakes it a particularly nice example for a Victorinox or military knife collection.

Approximately1976–1985.

This is the early, first-generation version of the Victorinox German Army Knife, commonly referred to as theGAK-1.
