Complete 6-piece vintage cast pewter tabletop / desk smoker’s companion set by master pewterer John Somers of Minas Gerais, Brazil.Handcrafted in São João del-Rei, Somers' foundry is famous worldwide for producing heavy, museum-grade reproductions inspired by 17th- and 18th-century colonial pewter designs. Stamped with the authentic John Somers touchmarks: JS, the crossed quality mark (X), and MG.Piece Breakdown & Measurements:• 2 Candlesticks: Measure 2.5" tall × 1.75" base diameter. Designed to stand alone or mount securely into the center sockets of the drip dishes.
• 2 Base Trays / Drip Saucers: Measure 5.0" diameter × 0.75" tall. Feature center receiver holes that hold the candle holders upright while functioning as drip pans or ash dishes.
• 1 Snuffer / Ash Receiver Cup: Freestanding vessel with a contoured hooded rim measuring 4.0" tall × 1.65" diameter.
• 1 Slanted Cigarette Dispenser & Pedestal: 2-piece design (oval dispenser + stepped rectangular base) measuring approx. 3.0" tall assembled.Condition:
• Heavy, solid cast pewter with a handsome aged matte patina throughout.
• Candlesticks have had wax removed; minor residual traces may still remain deep inside the sockets.
• No cracks, breaks, or structural flaws. Minor vintage handling scuffs consistent with cast metalware.
