Authentic Tsugaru Nuri Lacquerware Apple-Shaped Plates (Set of 2, withOriginal Box)A lovely pair of apple-shaped lacquerware plates from Tsugaru, Aomori,Japan - a traditional Japanese lacquer art technique dating back over300 years. Comes complete with the original presentation box.[Pattern Difference]- Each plate has its own unique marbled pattern on the rim and stem. The two plates are NOT identical - the rim and stem patterns differ between the two, as shown in the photos. This is a natural characteristic of handmade Tsugaru Nuri.
[Condition]- Pre-owned / Vintage item, in good overall condition with no major visible damage on the plates themselves.- As a vintage/handmade item, please expect signs of age and use, including possible surface scratches, small marks, or natural variations in pattern and color.- The original box shows some staining and wear from age/storage (please see photos for exact condition of the box).- Please inspect all photos carefully as they form an important part of the description, and feel free to message me with any condition questions before purchasing.
