Bof Lilia or Baf Lilia (?)

The "Lo Scricciolo" style refers to the whimsical, expressive, and caricatured Italian ceramic sculptures produced by the Milan-based studio Lo Scricciolo, founded in 1958 by sculptors Toni Moretto, Adriano Colombo, and Giovanni Duso. Their work is celebrated as "humorous ceramics" capturing everyday human life with theatrical flair.

Key Visual Characteristics in this style include exaggerated proportions. Figures feature long, lanky limbs, thin torsos, and oversized, expressive facial features.

Scenes depict detailed everyday narratives, occupations, hobbies, and historical or whimsical characters (like musicians, doctors, or stamp collectors).

Intricate Textures are shown with high attention to detail in clothing folds, textured hair, and props like books, animals, and small instruments.

Hand-Built: Sculpted by hand out of white clay.

Hand-Painted: Decorated with quick brushstrokes using glossy or opaque enamels, making each finished piece entirely unique.
