Vintage Handmade Butterfly Appliqué Quilt – Approx. 84” x 68”
Beautiful handmade butterfly quilt featuring dozens of individually appliquéd butterflies across a vibrant turquoise blue background.
Each butterfly is created from a different patterned fabric, giving the quilt a wonderful scrappy, one-of-a-kind appearance. Fabrics include florals, plaids, polka dots, novelty prints, horses, railroad logos and many other colorful designs.
The butterflies feature decorative stitching around the edges with embroidered details and whimsical black embroidered antennae. The turquoise background is beautifully quilted throughout with closely spaced decorative stitching, giving the entire quilt wonderful texture.
Measures approximately 84” x 68”.
This is a finished quilt with backing, batting and bound edges. It is a substantial size that could be used as a large throw, displayed as textile art, or used with bedding depending on the desired fit.
