Beautiful vintage round bentwood-style keepsake or bride’s box featuring a richly colored, hand-painted folk-art scene.
The lid depicts a formally dressed couple surrounding a central pastoral scene of a woman riding a white horse. Dove and floral details complete the design. The decorative floral painting continues around the lid’s band.
The interior is fully lined and padded with rust-colored fabric featuring a delicate dotted pattern. The artwork appears to be signed near the lower-right edge, although the signature is difficult to decipher.
