Vintage Early 1990s New Yorker Firefighter Fire Helmet – Black – Size MediumUp for sale is a vintage New Yorker firefighter helmet dating to the early 1990s, size Medium. This is an older, traditional-style black fire helmet with the classic construction and profile associated with New Yorker helmets from this era.The helmet has a great vintage appearance and shows age, wear, scuffs, scratches, discoloration, and other signs of use/storage consistent with an approximately 30+ year-old piece of firefighting equipment. I have intentionally left it in its current condition rather than attempting to heavily clean, polish, restore, or alter it.The helmet features a black traditional-style shell, raised ribs, extended rear brim, decorative detailing around the brim, and the original-style brass/gold-colored eagle front holder. The eagle shows noticeable age, patina, wear and bending, which can be seen clearly in the photographs.
