A classic set of 8 vintage Madeira hand-embroidered cocktail napkins featuring pheasants.Each napkin depicts a single pheasant next to a tree. The pheasant is embroidered in rich hues of gold, green, red, brown, yellow, gray and white.The detail and intricacy in the feathers is amazing. He is standing on tiny embroidered green blades on grass next to a bush or tree. All on a white linen background and finished with a gray embroidered border. Just beautiful.
The set is in very, very good condition. No holes, stains or wear. Hand-laundered and pressed.
The napkins measure approx. 5 X 8 ".
