A vintage Chinese Feng Shui Luo Pan (Geomantic Compass) set in a hinged red and black lacquered wooden box.Key Features & Details: Exterior: Beautifully detailed lid featuring a gilded Dragon and Phoenix artwork surrounding a flaming pearl, symbolization of balance, harmony, and good fortune. Interior Lid: Features traditional Chinese calligraphy and moral maxims/diagrams (Zhu Zi Jia Xun / Household Rules). Interior Base: Multi-ring rotatable Luo Pan dial printed with Bagua, Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, and astrological coordinates. Includes built-in spirit/bubble levels and crosshair alignment strings. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with light surface wear, scuffs, and minor lacquer aging as shown in photos. The internal dial and center needle move freely. Accuracy of direction/compass alignment has not been tested.
